Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are between you and FeedbackHi (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or embedding our SDK on a website, you accept them. If you are using FeedbackHi for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

• You need an account to create projects. Keep your login and your project API key to yourself — anything done with them counts as done by you.
• One person, one account. Do not use someone else's.
• You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.

What you may embed it on

Put the board or widget on sites you own or are authorised to change. You may not embed it on a site whose purpose is illegal, or use FeedbackHi to collect data you have no right to collect. If your board asks visitors for personal information beyond what the form requests, that is between you and them.

Who owns what

• The feedback, votes, and screenshots collected on your board are yours. We host and process them so the board works, and we do not sell them or use them to train anything.
• You give us the licence needed to store, display, and deliver that content for you — including showing it publicly on your board, which is the point of a public board.
• FeedbackHi itself — the site, the dashboard, the SDK, and the name — stays ours. You may embed the SDK as intended; you may not resell it or pass it off as your own product.

Your board, your responsibility

A public board accepts posts from strangers. You decide what stays up: every post can be hidden, deleted, or answered from the dashboard. We are not the editor of your board, but we can remove content or suspend a project that is illegal, abusive, or being used to attack someone.

Acceptable use

Do not use FeedbackHi to:

• Post or host unlawful, hateful, or harassing content, malware, or anyone's private information.
• Send automated traffic beyond ordinary use, or work around the rate limits and vote de-duplication.
• Probe, scrape, or overload the API, or try to reach data belonging to another account.

Availability

FeedbackHi is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Things break, providers have outages, and features change. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service; if a change would lose your data, we will give account holders notice by email first so you can export it.

Price

FeedbackHi is currently free to use. If paid plans are introduced later, existing accounts will be told before anything they already rely on starts costing money.

Ending it

You can delete a project or your whole account at any time, which deletes the feedback under it permanently. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or one that is being used to harm other people, and will explain why where we can.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe you

To the fullest extent the law allows, FeedbackHi is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on a free account, is nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and material changes are announced to account holders by email. Continuing to use FeedbackHi after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where FeedbackHi is operated from, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live says otherwise.
